Jon Campbell

art.speak Workshop with Artist Jon Campbell

Sun February 21, 2016
10.30am - 12pm

EVENT HAS SOLD OUT

Presented by our friends art.speak, this session provides an intimate and supportive environment for emerging artists to share projects and ideas with mentor Jon Campbell.

In a group environment Jon will discuss your work, your career, or ways forward with applications and visual art proposals. With over 30 years experience to draw from as a visual artist, Jon has a wealth of knowledge and valuable insights to share and help you reach the next level in your career.

Jon Campbell draws from a strong background in the visual arts. His masterfully realised paintings, cut-outs, banners, neon’s, flags and songs demonstrate a love of suburbia and its vernacular. He has been a lecturer of painting at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) for over 16 years. His accomplishments include being a studio artist at Gertrude Contemporary and winning the Basil Sellers Art Prize. His works are in the collection of the National Gallery of Australia, the National Gallery of Victoria and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney, to name but a few.
