Print-transfer Workshop with Claire Mooney

Join artist Claire Mooney for a combined artist talk and practical workshop. Claire will be speaking about her art, ideas and working processes, as well as running a hands-on workshop that will allow you to learn and apply the print transfer method she uses in many of her paintings.

Celebrate Amani Tia and Claire Mooney’s Nebula residency. Enjoy a Q+A with Amani Tia at 2pm and then observe as he demonstrates his practice and discusses his personal experience of undertaking the Bundoora Nebula Residency. Amani’s distinctive style of drawing and painting has been impacted by his immediate environment. This is an opportunity to celebrate his commitment to his art practice along with artist Claire Mooney. Light refreshments will be served.

Tour through the house and grounds while Cassie May brings to life its unique stories, prominent architectural features and colourful past.

Relax within the grand setting of Bundoora Homestead whilst life-drawing with others. Join our facilitator and life model for a workshop on drawing, form and capturing the essence of a figure over a period of time. This is a class available to artists at all stages in their development whether you’re trying it out for the first time or if you have advanced drawing skills.
