Accession presents recent acquisitions to the Darebin Art Collection representative of a cross-section of Australian contemporary art practices. Including several new commissions specific to the Darebin municipality, in many instances it will be the first time these significant works have been revealed to the community. The artists presented include Brook Andrew, Megan Cope, Daniel Crooks, DAMP, Patrick Francis, Dale Harding, Matthew Harris, Claire Lambe, Claire McArdle, Claire Mooney, Steaphan Paton, David Ray, Yhonnie Scarce, Shannon Smiley, Fergus Binns and Steven Rhall, David Wadelton, Paul Wood and Alice Wormald.

Exhibition Opening
Help celebrate Accession and the exhibition We and hear from leading art critic, art historian and curator Sasha Grishin AM FAHA. The exhibition opening will include a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony.
