explores the limits of ideas about what constitutes jewellery, and questions the common focus on object outcomes. The exhibition sees the process of making examined and reinterpreted in the practices of six diverse artists.
The artists present their own stance on these issues, exploring their connection to the skills and concepts of the discipline. Each maker is connected to the Contemporary Jewellery and Object field in Melbourne, and takes their practice beyond the walls of the studio.
The featured artists are: Roseanne Bartley, Anna Gray, Tiffany Parbs, Public Assembly (Lynda Roberts & Ceri Hann) & Renée Ugazio. Curated by Claire McArdle.
