A half-way house and alternative school once located near Bundoora Homestead, ‘Kingsbury’ forms the backdrop to this exhibition. In the 1970s, Kingsbury embraced an experimental culture of encounter sessions, consciousness raising, group discussions, readings and performance. Rozalind Drummond mines this complex history through digital photography, film and found imagery. The work suggests a series of fabricated scenarios, depicting trans-historical meetings, associations about people that once occupied Kingsbury.
Help celebrate the opening of Process Blue, Nature Trips, Corduroy, Pine Shelving and six other exhibitions at Bundoora Homestead Art Centre.
