Margaret-Anne Gooch presents a solo exhibition exploring the relationship between the Boonwurrung peoples and early European settlers of Point Nepean in Victoria. Comprising a series of paintings, installation and sound composition, Hidden Truth, uses endangered species and their predators as a metaphor for this relationship. Gooch worked on this project with Fay Stewart-Muir, a Boonwurrung elder, to document the fading nature of the Boonwurrung culture after European invasion.
