CALLING ALL CRAFTERS!
If you’re into knitting, macramé, quilting, embroidery, tapestry, patchwork, felting or work with any other textile based craft then we welcome you to be part of
Craft Lab+ by taking up residence at Bundoora Homestead Art Centre from 19 May to 29 July and help create a community of crafters. All works created will be part of the exhibition to be shown in the galleries from 21 June to 29 July.
Drop in at any time during public hours to work on your piece, there will also be a number of facilitated craft classes run by Ramona Barry.
Ramona Barry is a writer, curator and maker specialising in craft and design. She is the co-author of
The Craft Companion (Thames & Hudson 2016), co-director of the handmadelife project, former special project officer, program manager and board chair of Craft Victoria and current coordinator of the Art Craft & Cookery Competition and Makers Pavilion for the Royal Melbourne Show.
PLEASE NOTE: These workshops are free but there is limited capacity. We recommend arriving early to secure your spot. Please make sure you register with reception on arrival.
