The Bundoora Nebula Residency offers the rare creative opportunity for artists to make new work at Bundoora Homestead or in the revolutionary custom built studio – Nebula. The residency involves two artists, of which one has a disability.
Sandra Long is a writer and performance maker. For her residency she will be developing a new performance text which looks at education and nature, taking inspiration from the Red Riding Hood fairy tale. She will be working with text, sound and painting to help explore these ideas.
Patrick Francis will be extending his practice during the Nebula Residency. Known for his portraits on paper of celebrities and famous historical paintings, he plans to find new inspiration and experiment with subject matter during his Nebula Residency.
