May 22, 2013 - June 9, 2013In March 2013 students from the NMIT Visual Arts Department traveled to the Royal Botanic Gardens to spend the day drawing, painting and photographing the site. Returning to the classroom the students produced works on paper in a variety of media including graphite, charcoal and watercolour.
The final result is Botanica, an exhibition of artworks interpreting the natural world. For many students this is their first opportunity to exhibit their work in public and a milestone in their creative practice and future careers.
