Michael Kelly: Fleeting Moments
Dr Jacqueline Healy, Director of Bundoora Homestead Art Centre, discusses the work of Michael Kelly. Predominantly an urban painter, Kelly moved to Dunmoochin in 1999 and was inspired to depict the landscape surrounding him, albeit punctured by what the artist calls 'the forgotten and abandoned aspects of the urban environment' - a rusting car, a towering chimney, a blown-out tyre.

30:30 Vision: Insect Glimmering
Pat Judd, mosaic artist, discuses mosaic making and The Mosaic Association of Australia and New Zealand (MAANZ) annual 30:30 Vision exhibition, Insect Glimmering. 'As he walked, Pinocchio noticed a tiny insect glimmering on the trunk of a tree, a small being that glowed a pale soft light.' This quote from 'The Adventures of Pinocchio' by Carlo Collodi serves as the inspiration for the exhibition.
