Fayen d’Evie & Joseph O’Farrell (JOF) were the first Bundoora Nebula Residency artists. They created new work in the Mess gallery and in Nebula – a custom built studio based in the heritage garden.
During the residency JOF developed ideas towards a new accessible installation titled
He connected with local primary schools working with students towards a range of new artworks and performances and also developed a new sculptural installation. Fayen explored the idea of blindness. She developed new ideas and experiments for forthcoming exhibitions in both Sydney and Belgrade. In collaboration with artist Katie West, Fayen also developed a new collaborative project: the Museum Incognita and led a participatory event where the audience were encouraged to encounter the architecture and grounds of Bundoora Homestead and share their experience.
